I had the privilege of working with Project Courage on the 5k road race. It was very well organized and they did a wonderful job of raising awareness of addiction in our community and the support that is out there! They are a fantastic group of people.

Project Courage located in Old Saybrook Connecticut is taking a great approach to helping those who suffer with opiate addiction. With their individualized program, such as a 5 day IOP or intensive outpatient program, offering so much more than others. As I have spoken to several individuals who have attended their program and they have maintained sobriety witht he tools learned and medication assistance, Suboxone. Suboxone seems to be the medication that is helping people regain control of their life.
